Every year ACEC-SK invites national association leaders to share their recent accomplishments as well as current initiatives that benefit Saskatchewan members. November 21, 2018, John Gamble, ACEC President & CEO and Mike Snow, Board Chair provided details about:

• First federal Qualifications Based Selection(QBS) pilot project through Public Service and Procurement Canada
• A guidance document for clients outlining Conflict of Interest criteria when selecting consultants
• Written submission to the House of Commons Standing Committee on Finance encouraging the fast tracking of infrastructure program spending
• A successful national leadership conference that included a presentation from the new federal Infrastructure and Communities Minister, the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne

Saskatchewan attendees drove the conversation toward provincial procurement challenges and alternate project delivery models, with a focus on new ways to approach provincial advocacy.
