On February 12, 2019, the ACEC-SK Young Professionals group hosted a lunch & learn at Mano’s restaurant. The topic for the lunch & learn was professional networking, with Jolene Watson as our guest speaker. Jolene is the owner of Clarity Coaching & Development with experience in professional speaking, team building, goal setting and personality profiling among other topics.

Jolene was a pleasure to have and covered topics such as knowing what type of personality you are and the different types you might encounter while networking. Additional topics included best practices for networking events, do and don’ts when meeting new people and why first impressions matter.

Overall the event was well attended with 16 participants, and many questions at the end. We hope to see you at the next Saskatoon YP event!
