The Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) is the only regulatory body issuing Permission to Consult licenses.  APEGBC recently introduced Organizational Quality Management (OQM) and APEGA the Permit to Practice with companies required to have a Professional Practice Management Plan (PPMP).  The recent changes made by our neighbors to the west have raised the “value” question of Saskatchewan’s Permission to Consult license.

ACEC-SK has been asked to start the dialogue with its member firms about potential changes to Permission to Consult.  Members will have input and review opportunities throughout the assessment process.  Their recommendations are to be forwarded to APEGS for consideration prior to the final review and decision.
