2017 Joint Regionalization Conference presented by ACEC-SK & SaskWater

ACEC-SK & SaskWater presented a joint Regionalization Conference in Saskatoon on March 29, 2017.

Key stakeholders were brought together to discuss the benefits of regionalization for water infrastructure projects.  Success stories were shared, including recent examples from Alberta and Saskatchewan.  Participants also heard the perspectives of the Water Security Agency, current Federal and Provincial funding Programs, as well as regionalization’s implications for operators. The Panel Discussion gave participants the opportunity to ask questions about the challenges and benefits of regional water systems.
