On December 17, the Transportation Executive Committee (TEC) led an internal meeting of the larger Transportation Committee to report on recent activities:

• Tri-Party Steering Committee on December 5 that discussed items from the Roadways Technical Committee, Bridges Technical Committee, Contracts Committee, Best Value Committee, and Safety Committees.
• Communication from MHI about an upcoming innovation challenge
• Adapting to the Ministry re-organization
• Adapting to MHI procurement now lead by Single Procurement Service at SaskBuilds
• Issues identification and proposed solutions, such as:
  • performance evaluations,
  • proposal evaluations and related scoring
  • detailed input into a revised Schedule A
  • Short Form feedback
  • Recommendation about Solicitation Letters
  • Contractor Performance Evaluations
  • Contractor Input into Consultant Selection
  • Weight of Old Evaluation Scores
  • Number of Evaluations on longer-term or Larger Projects/Programs
  • Pre-Qualification

There was also commitment to a new process for two-way communication between the Transportation Executive Committee and the larger Transportation Committee.
