Over the summer, a short survey was circulated to ACEC-SK member firms about perceived challenges with the client-consultant relationship.  The response rate was overwhelming with 42 member firms providing feedback. The results to this phase of the survey are currently undergoing analysis. 

The next phase will be to circulate the same questions to a broad cross-section of clients at various levels of government as well as the private sector.  It will be interesting to compare the results of the two groups, which in turn will inform what action your association can take to address this issue.

Once the results are finalized, and a follow-up action is developed, they will be presented to the membership in a public forum, likely at the association’s next Business Conference in early 2019.
