Women leaders in the consulting engineering industry, politicians at all levels of government, RCMP/police, lawyers, accountants, educators, entrepreneurs – they all face barriers every day that are sometimes very different from their male counterparts. The Association of Consulting Engineering Companies – Saskatchewan (ACEC-SK) is honoured to host a prestigious full-day conference focusing on:
· challenges professional women leaders face at various ages/stages in their careers,
· sharing cross-industry learnings/successes (e.g. solutions working in one industry may be applicable to others)
A key outcome will be the development of a support network that will inspire bold female leaders for society.

Generational Breakout Sessions Attendees will attend one of four generational breakout sessions. Women of various ages will share barriers faced every day that are sometimes very different from their male counterparts. During the session they will also identify personal solutions that worked to overcome those barriers. |

Generational Panel Panelists from different generations will share their personal experiences. Facilitators and attendees will share the results of their generational breakout sessions. |

Cross Industry Panel Panelists from different professions will share their personal experiences. Attendees will then be asked to participate and share experiences from their own professions. What mechanisms have and have not worked across industries? Have employers or professional organizations implemented programs? Did they work? |
