According to PMI’s “The Standard for Project Management,” a stakeholder is “an individual, group, or organization that may affect, be affected by, or perceive itself to be affected by a decision, activity, or outcome of a project, program, or portfolio.” This one-hour webinar will cover the benefits of purposeful stakeholder engagement, the primary steps necessary for stakeholder management, as well as the key considerations for positive and productive stakeholder engagement.

Speaker’s Bio: Stacye Thrasher Brim, PMP, LSSGB is the founder and principal consultant of STB Consulting, LLC. Our organization partners with nonprofit and corporate leaders to develop and execute clear strategic direction via strategy, portfolio/ project management and process improvement consulting. Ms. Brim is a highly-motivated and results-oriented PMP-certified consultant with over 20 years of experience in portfolio governance, project management, strategy, process improvement and technology development. Clients have included public sector, private sector, and nonprofit community-based organizations across various industries including education, public health, IT, semiconductors, and hospitality. A former Booz Allen Hamilton consultant, Ms. Brim has held the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation since 2007 and is also certified in strategy management as a Kaplan-Norton Balanced Scorecard Certified Graduate (issued by Palladium). Ms. Brim has earned the designation as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business and is also certified in Change Management, earning the designation of Prosci Certified Change Practitioner. Ms. Brim holds both a B.S and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Florida and Georgia Institute of Technology, respectively. Her engineering mindset and collaborative demeanor are both brought to the table when partnering with clients to help them solve their toughest problems.
