Right now we have the best shot ever of having Qualifications-Based Selection (QBS) used for government procurement in Saskatchewan.

ACEC-SK has been asked to provide examples of inadequate provincial government and Crown corporation procurements from a consulting engineering industry perspective. These examples should support building the argument for adopting QBS.

We're not looking for specifics. We are asking for our Voting Representatives to provide high level examples of challenges from various sectors (e.g. transportation, utilities, buildings, etc.). Pick two or three issues you are seeing over and over again.

If you have experienced problematic procurements from a provincial Ministry, Crown or agency in the past year, ACEC-SK wants to hear from you!

Our industry says we want QBS, but it won’t happen without your help. We all need to step up and work together to make QBS a reality in this province.
