ACEC-SK's second annual Industry Forum with Water Security Agency(WSA) was held on May 8, 2019 in Regina.

John Fahlman, Vice President, Technical and Chief Engineer opened the forum with an overview of WSA.

Adrienne Perrot, Legal Counsel reviewed the following:

  • Centralizing Procurement
  • Stronger Policies and Better Education

  • New Procurement Tools (implemented April 2019)

Jody Scammell, Director, Dam Safety & Major Structures covered opportunities in each of the following business lines:

Terry Barkway, Director, Engineering Services then gave an overview of WSA infrastructure, and reviewed the capital plan & upcoming projects.

Gary Neil, Manager of Watershed Planning presented the Client-based Flood Programs. 

Clint Molde, Executive Director Integrated Water Services covered the following topics under Agriculture Water Management Strategy:

Thon Phommavong, Executive Director Environmental & Municipal Management Services wrapped up the presentations with the Mission, Goals, Strategy, and Programs/Activities of EMMS. He also reviewed Drinking Water Quality Regulations and Wastewater MMWE Compliance Updates.
